About the Foundation

Introduction:

The Harry K. and Emma Rosenfeld Fox Charitable Foundation was established in 1959 by Emma Fox from her family inheritance. Emma and Harry Fox lived and were active in the community of Northeast, Ohio where they owned the Grabler Manufacturing Company. Grants, given primarily in northeast Ohio, support hospitals, education, cultural programs, youth agencies, and human services.

Major Fox gifts have been made to Case Western Reserve University, the Jewish Community Federation, the Interchurch Council of Greater Cleveland, Guidance Matters, and the Hunger Center. The foundation also supports smaller projects and fledgling organizations which attack social problems or which promote the arts.

Areas of Interest:

The Foundation aims to support and build organizations that help promote quality of life and culture in Northeast Ohio, focusing on Cuyahoga County and its immediate neighbors. The Foundation supports activities in the following areas:
